Big brake kit for s-10 swap
I have a big brake kit with 13" rotors for the front of my truck and was wondering if i should use the stock backing plates or not? Any and all comments are welcome.

The kit i'm using is from Mcgaughys. It has 2" drop spindles and 13" cross drilled rotors. I will try to post some pics when i get back to the garage.

You can use the stock plates or none at all. I was looking at that kit for my truck too, nice setup.

Re: Big brake kit for s-10 swap
Its not a bad kit for the money since it comes with spindles and everything else you need. If you pieced together a blazer setup with new calipers, cross drilled rotors, drop spindles, etc you are going to be in the same ball park. You could save money on that by doing junk yard parts and stock spindles though.
