71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
This is a pic of the skidplate from my 4X4, but this is what you will get. the crossmember bolts in behind the one that holds the transfer case and the front edge of the skid plate bolts to it. I hope I haven't confused anyone. Its a nice touch!!! $125 plus shipping. Thanks, Dan

Shipping to 55344 if it gets to me. Was this on the SPID?

Re: 71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
I finally had a chance to dig the one for sale out and get a pic. It has the normal pitting that should clean up pretty good. I wanted to make sure everyone knew the first set of pics was the one off of my truck.
I am off to work in minutes for 2- midnight. PM sent to Vintage Windmills on shipping. Last edited by w314speed; 12-13-2011 at 01:10 PM. |

Re: 71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
Shipping is not too bad but I"ll let Dan have it since I won't need for awhile. Still curious though whether or not this was on the SPID's.

Re: 71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
Would you be interested in selling just the skid plate without the crossmember?

No problem, glad it helped. It should fit Dantip's project perfectly.

Pretty sure it was an option that was only found on a blazer spid.

Re: 71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
I looked at the frame on my K20 and there are no holes for mounting this.

Re: 71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
Chipflyer maybe right. I put one on my K20 years ago and think I had to drill my frame. It's a great addition to build it your way or for SPID proper attire. Thanks, for the info. Dan

Re: 71-72 Chevy-GMC 4X4 SKIDPLATE
I know this is an old post. BUT .I was doing a search . You said it was only in the Blazers the skid Plate?????? could that have been because of the short wheel base
