autozone air suspension?

i was looking at the autozone website and they have a couple of air suspension kits. has anyone used those before? are they reliable? are they worth the price? $200-$300 range.

Re: autozone air suspension?

From what I know of the costs of a basic system, I doubt that they have much available that will fit your needs. Before I can give an educated answer, I need to know what your looking to accomplish, and what the kit consists of.

Re: autozone air suspension?

i want a simple system that when parked, the truck wil sit lowered. when i crank the truck to drive it the system will inflat to proper ride height. when i get to where i want to go... my truck sits back down again. i will eventually tow a trailer for my motorcycle, but nothing heavy duty. the heaviest i'll ever haul is ocassionly some firewood and a washer or dryer unit, but not at the same time.

Re: autozone air suspension?

In all honesty, you will not achieve what you are describing for $300. Look for decent kits to start in the mid $1500-$3000 range, depending on valves, bags, notches, spindles, etc

Re: autozone air suspension?

I went and looked on autozones site its not a true air suspension its a load leaving air bag set up for the back of a truck.A load leaving air bag kit is just for when you tow a lot of weight it lifts the back up so the truck sits level.

Re: autozone air suspension?

You could do it in stages bag the rear get a basic air management then later on do the front. The rear only your looking about 1700 but it bolts in and will get pretty low http://www.ridetech.com/store/1999-2...ar-system.html air management can be a grand or less just depends how fancy you want it.
