Re: what is this step side worth?
Thats a clean dually! I`d pass on the trade. Without hacking on it, looks
like there is some issues.

Re: what is this step side worth?
If the rest of the dually is as nice as what I see it would bring about 3000. If it were me the blue truck and 1000 minimum before I would even think about a trade

Re: what is this step side worth?
It may be an illusion but it looks like someone put a sunroof in it. If so that would definitely make me keep looking for a better deal/trade.

Re: what is this step side worth?
You didn't give much info on the stepside, but I would say the stepside is worth $1,500 with no sunroof, $750 if it has a sunroof.

Re: what is this step side worth?
Add $500 to the value if it does not come with the camper top.

Re: what is this step side worth?
I would want lots of pics after they washed the stepper.I looks like it might be a decent start but I would want to see cab corners, cab supports, rockers and a lot more in "clean" close ups.
The dually looks like a lot more truck from the pics but if you're not working it the step might get as good a milage and be easier to park.

Re: what is this step side worth?
That Dually is sweet. The stepper has some issues. Just a quick look, sunroof, dent in the chrome and fender above the passenge marker light in front, hood looks sprung on passenger side, and the passenger door is toast, big crease looks like it was caught by the wind and swung too far open. I would keep the dually, unless you need the money.

Re: what is this step side worth?
Those two trucks are in completely different leagues. I'd only trade for another equally unmolested truck no matter how the values compare. That thing has a low quality repaint over who knows what, cheapo mirrors (how were the original holes filed),front damage, and just chock full of Kmart rash. How much do you figure your Dooley is worth? It would sell easily in that condition and you could buy a much nicer Stepside.

Re: what is this step side worth?
I'm with everyone else here. The dually looks like a super nice original gem. No disrespect to the other truck, but they are apples and oranges. The stepper is a solid start but not a fair trade. The sunroof really kills the value. I bet if you had them wash it, take the camper off and put the original grill back in it our opinions would change a little but I bet you still need to have them bump a little cash to make it even.

Re: what is this step side worth?
Not to keep hashing on the blue truck.... but it also looks like the rear fender on the passenger side is also muffed-up (yes just said muffed-up ) pretty bad.
Keep the dually, unless you can get an additional $1,500-2k in the deal. |
