harness connection issue

Puttn a tilt coulmn in a 69 truck and the turn signal switch 1/2 moon or C style connector want mesh together like all the ones in the past have! Am I missing something here, dont want to slice and dice the connector. The coulmn is from a 72 but I thought all connectors where the same.
any imput would be helpfull as I scratch my head!lol

I belive I will change out the plastic connector on the tilt column for the connector that wa on the reg.one that fit.....

the turn signal switch for a 71-72 tilt column is different than a non-tilt 67-72. At least there are 2 different part numbers according to LMC pg 155.

I don't know what the difference is, but I'd think if you splice the old connector in to the new switch matching the wire colors you should be fine?

The connector on the tilt was different then the non tilt, so I swapped the connector out and we are in buisness!!! Thanks guy's I just needed to step back and look at this a minute!lol
