Siginaw 3 Speed Question
I have a leak in a switch on my 71 swb with a 3 speed Saginaw Transmission. The switch is on the left side at the front shift leaver. I think the switch is a transmission control spark switch. Does anyone know what this does? Is the switch necessary? I would just plug the hole, but it has a funny thread on the switch. Where might I find one if I need it?

Re: Siginaw 3 Speed Question
I thought the back-up light switch was on the steering column.

Re: Siginaw 3 Speed Question
The backup light switch is on the column. You are correct, that switch is for the TCS system. what type of thread is it? I have never removed mine. I took the 3 speed out in favor of an automatic, but I still have the 3 speed in storage.
