Bucket Seats
What can I get buckets from that will fit my '86 C10, it currently has a bench and I'm hating it...preferably with a center console as well
If you have pictures of the final result that would be a big bonus |

For direct install, there are several seats you can get. They actually made buckets in some pickups and that's one option. Another one is to get some seats out of a blazer. You can also go with aftermarket seats that come with direct bolt-in brackets. There are serveral companies out there, but this industry can be very iffy from what I've heard. You can also find some buckets out of another vehicle and fabricate some brackets to install in your truck. For instance, I've heard of Acura, Toyota truck, Caddilac, and Honda seats in our trucks. Hopefully somebody with some good resources will follow along soon!

Anything you find at the junk yard and fabricate or modify the brackets and voila!

I found mine for $40 from a wrecked suburban. It had aftermaeket seats and after a welding job and a good cleaning they fit great.

Thanks, i was sort of hoping for some pics to see how they look, but fabricating brackets will work great, I shouldn't have a problem finding seats I guess

I've compiled some custom interior pictures at http://www.shelbournes.net/trucksite..._interiors.htm
You will find some nice seats there.

I like that first one shown, any idea what the seats are from and how they did the center console?

That's Mike's seats. I think they are Salesco seats and he removed the center seat console. He them built a custom console. Go to his website at www.73-87.com . You won't regret it.

I think some of the new GM seats would be nice. Seatbelt and arm rest built in. Power is mucho $$$ so I would go with manual.

I want the new GM seats also. I want black ones with a fold down console.
So I need to start saving!
