Anyone know the difference between Chevy and GMC?
I've got a 59 GMC and was wondering if anyone knows what if anything off of a 58/59 Chevy will fit, especially concerning the doors and front fenders and hood?
Thanks in Advance |

Re: Anyone know the difference between Chevy and GMC?
I think everything will interchange except maybe the core support. Even that may be the same on the 2nd series 55 and later trucks. The big differences are the engine and dash along with the grill.

thanks, I need new fenders and I may be able to get a set off of a 58 Chevy, wasn't sure if they would go on a 59 Gmc.

Re: Anyone know the difference between Chevy and GMC?
I used reproduction fenders on my 59 GMC and they were listed as Chev, and worked fine.
I agree with above, core support is different. I believe you will need to fill the holes for the Chev emblems on the fenders and drill GMC mount holes.
