Is a 72 gmc suburban rear bumper the same as 72 c10
I'm at the junk yard right now and never thought about it before but this burn has a good sport bumper I was hoping fit the trucks the same so I can ditch the step bumper I have now

Nope none on the burb but I went to another junk yard and found a bunch to choose from but thanks. I also got brackets for the power brake setup I have waiting to put on my truck and a nice heater control with good arms. I tried to get the bumper but I need to get a medium depth socket for one of the nuts but the bumper is in pretty good shape and I hope it's still there when I go back to get some dakota door seals. I just wish I could have found a good set of reverse light lens' but for some reason I could only find good drivers side so I skipped em all together.

Re: Is a 72 gmc suburban rear bumper the same as 72 c10
Well I went back today and it was still there. Brought the right depth socket with me and got all the nuts off and then got to the one that was giving me trouble before and ended up getting the socket stuck on the nut due to it starting to round off trying to wrench it off but I finally got it with the help of my roommate! I'm ecstatic right now! Got the sport bumper and a set of dakota door seals for $70 after tax. Only thing is I didn't notice some scrapes in one area on the bumper before but oh well my truck is far from a show truck and it will look way better than the step bumper that somebody put on it before.

Oh and had to find someone with wire cutters too since I forgot mine to cut the wires off for the license plate light and another one that I'm guessing was a ground for something.
