parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
Not your traditional frame layer LOL not much left but let me know if you see something. I can get pics and prices. Most all of the metal is rotten on body panels. Rad. support seems ok front bumper chrome is peeling but straight. Lower engine mounts for small block. has 3 of the rally rims like on driver side. two of the aluminum Jeep rims like on Pass side. A year ago I would have hauled this to scrap without asking ( I bought for the motor) but I have since found out from you guys how needed a lot of the parts are.

I will get some pics tomorrow for you It looks to me like the bumper may have been rechromed at one point and is peeling but from what I remember it is very straight. not sure of backside condition until I look tomorrow. Last time I looked at radiator support it was in excellent shape. I have not looked at it to hard lately but the other day when I was removing some other parts I did notice the battery tray has a minor amount of rust. Richard

Re: parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
I was able to save some of the lower and upper trim as well. Nothing spectacular but useable pcs. also had the original am radio in it. Cant get the dial to work but chrome looks good, knobs, cups and nuts all in good shape. I also cut the dash metal out of it but I may keep that for the blazer or panel. They have both been cut.

Re: parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
I'd be interested in front and rear bumpers. I'll sandblast and powder coat, so I don't care about chrome.

Re: parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
rear bumper is a well used step bumper that I think is twisted. I will get a picture later this morning. You are 2nd `in line behind 68 for the front.

Re: parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
reno,
Eyebrow does have some rust thru. I saw no need to take a picture. LOwburb I took some more pics of the bumper and the rad support this morning. I will email them to you later today when I get them downloaded. SUpport seems very solid I took picture of minor rust thru on the battery tray and a couple pencil sized holes in the floor of the support below the battery tray. Richard

Re: parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
Jimmy
I will go to the local station beginning of the week and see about shipping. I have to get it removed from the truck and measure it up. They closed the regular terminal here a couple years ago so I am not sure if I can actually ship from here anymore. Richard

Re: parting out whats left of 69 GMC laying frame
Jimmy,
Got it all measured up and weighed tonite. I think I can just squeeze it thru UPS. I measured it at 20" tall 72" wide 8" deep and about 50lbs. I would have to remove the battery box and the headlights ( hopefully I can get them to lay in the opening of the radiator hole once I cardboard it. I based shipping to zip 70769. Let me know if it is different so I can update shipping costs. If it is correct how does $175 including the ride sound? Richard
