It's alive!!!!

Well,

It's finally in and running...I picked up my pick up tonight with my ZZ502 installed....it really rocks!!!!! Got some refinement things to do in the engine compartment and some suspension work but I really dig it!

Thanks Dan....It shakes the truck pretty good at a stoplight....

I always had trouble gettin' her up to 70/75 but not anymore...

I really need to do some work on the engine compartment to clean things up....for some reason one headlight is really dim....I will have to trace it out and find out what's going on...

Did you make a decision on your alternator?

Man, that's a lot of engine. Will I see it at the Greenwood show? I was proud of my 350, but somebody always comes up with something better. Frank is a nice guy to deal with and talk to. I am going to go meet Wes at Classic Heartbeat tomorrow (new 4 row radiator - the new 350 gets hot). There has to be someplace we P'sounders can get together so we have faces to go with handles. Good luck with the new rat. Scott

Scott,

Yes we puget sounders should get together a few times in the summer....I am always down at the XXX Root Beer place in Issaquah on Saturday evenings when it is nice....

My dad has been giving me a hardtime about the Greenwood show....he wants me to take the truck to tow the Chevelle so my wife can drive the Vette....my bet is that I will probably be there....none of my cars are show material though....but I still might take em.

Hey guys....Monroe swapmeet in about three weeks!!!!! Let's all meet out there...I would love to see that 502 up close. Don't park too close to my 283...it is feeling pretty weak and that thing is likely to suck all the remaining life out of my little wheeze bag motor...LOL!

miket, The Spring Monroe Swap Meet is the largest in the NW (Fall Monroe meet is only slightly smaller). It will be May 17-18. It is the 30th Annual Swap Meet and always promises to have some really great deals and lots to see. It is free! Parking is $5. If we all try to park in the paved lot it may cost a tad bit more (not entirely sure of this) but it is slightly more convenient to the meet and we could hang out there and barbeque. We could do the same in the grass parking lot it is just about 50 - 100 yd from the front gate.

When I go to the local cruises, I spend more time looking at projects under construction than at the show trucks. It seems that most of those were "bought" anyway. The show quality cars and trucks come out of the shops completed with a $40K+ price tag. I'm more impressed by folks that get their hands dirty.

I'll be at Monroe, don't know if my truck will. I am planning on Viking Fest in Poulsbo on May 12.

that is a *****'n motor. My friend has a 511 in his 56 truck. It hauls a##. What rear suspension are you using? I do not know how much taller the BB is vs a SB, but I have a 5" K&N on my SB.
