15 x 8 rallys w/ 6" bs
can i run a 6" backspacing
on 15 x 8 rally wheel on a 1972 c10? will drop spindles work also? concerns are front and rear? |

Yes in the back.
No in the front. I have a set of 15x8's with 5" BS. They won't work up front. Any 15" wheel with over 3.5" of backspacing will require grinding of the lower a-arm. I think 4" BS is the max. You can get away with that much backspacing with larger diameter wheels (20's),... but not with 15's.

I think they will hit the lower control arm when you turn.

Agreed. Also will be close to the inners out back. Overall, I'd say the 6" BS is risky at best...
