Rear end off center
My rear end sits off center slightly, maybe 1/4". It's enough that my tire will rub on hard turns (the tires really fill up the wheel wells). If I could get it centered perfectly, it would not rub anymore. What does it take to center it? Just loosen the u-bolts on the axle and adjust the track bar?
Oh, I have a 67 Stepside with trailing arms. Thanks!

Re: Rear end off center
You need an adjustable track bar (panhard bar).
Many aftermarket companies make them. Look at ECE (www.earlyclassic.com)

Re: Rear end off center
Your truck will do exactly what you're saying with a lowered rear and a stock panhard bar. As mentioned earlier, the Early Classic track bar kit will do wonders for your truck. Inexpensive, too.

Re: Rear end off center
Thanks all! I kept the panhard bar that was on it when I bought it. I'm thinking it is aftermarket since it looks adjustable on the end.
