interior paint question
im buliding an 83 chevy stepside, thats going to be some shade of blue on the outside, and i wanted to change how the factory would of painted the inside from doing all metal peices in same color as ext, i wanted to paint all metal peices a gray, and do dash pad black, carpet and headliner black, door panels and seat black and gray, i wanted to paint door jams same as ext color, then everything metal from the door weather stripping in, i wanted to do gray, has anyone done this, or seen done, was wondering how well this would look, thanks for any pics or input

i think the metal on the interior would look cool white just my 2 cents with everything else blue

I'm not sure if i would be into the 3 colors but its not my truck, you could always paint the outside blue (i think a deep navy would be cool ) then paint the interior gray (maybe a lighter shade ) and then go from there with the black....maybe gray dash,carpet and then add black in the seats and doorpanels. you have to ride in it make it the way you like it.
