Painting Door Panel Help

I just purchased two "paint to match" door panels for a 1986 chevy pickup. They are ready to be painted. Can someone tell me what is the best way to paint them black?

I would use a semi-gloss paint, in my opinion, the gloss paint just look tacky.

1.) clean really good then wipe them down with alcohol (very important)

2.) use a plastic Adhesion Promote (make sure to fallow directions on flash time)

3.) use a automotive plastic interior spray paint (autozone etc. carries them)

I sprayed one of mine but didn't clean it good enough an it flaked, redone it they way I stated above and its been holding really good

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

SEM works great, I've recolored junk yard visors with excellent results.

That turned out really nice! Got to do the same on mine, they are getting pretty faded by the sun.
