72 Hood Hinges

I see OER and also see GM still lists them but wonder if they are truly an original GM part or just relabeled. Used?

Yeah, one of mine is bent from a deer riding up the front end one night. Replacement hood won't sit properly. You say GM has these? I'll take used as long as they work. (Actually I just need one but I'll take both to cure the problem.)

They can ( or not to long ago) be ordered at your local chevy dealer. They are pricy but 10x better than repros. I got some at my shop if I can remember to get the part #'s

Been 8 years since I got mine, but they still work perfect. GM numbers are,
3911705 Hinge LH 8.015 $53.75
3911706 Hinge RH 8.015 $54.83
I kinda thought the price difference between the two was funny.
