need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
I've got a chance at some pristine 2012 light titanium cloth bucket seats for $150. They are manual seats but are basically brand new. Any pictures of these buckets installed in our trucks? Opinions are welcomed too. Making a purchasing decision this afternoon

IMO, I don't care if they're buckets out of a 2014 Silverado, original buckets with console would look MUCH better.

These seats in my '71 are out of a 2010 Silverado. Feel free to ask any questions.

Upgrading the seats was probably the best bang for the buck when putting custom mods on this truck! |

Re: need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
Within moments of getting them. Headrests will definitely go. I am thinking of hacing them covered in blue vinyl/leather and blue/black houndstooth if that changes anyones opinions. I will also be using a factory cupholder console i already have

I can't tell from the picture, what type of seat belts are you using? It looks like you retained the 2010 female ends on the seats, but I can't tell.

Re: need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
Using the lap belts on the two outside buckets, because the auto wrecker cut the shoulder belts after i bought the seats. Apparently after the airbags go off a solenoid is triggered making the seat belts permanently locked. I'm sure there was a way of making use of them but they were already cut when i got them!

Re: need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
@Pantera:
Any chance I can get a pic with the console down? Also...how much with wide clearance do you have? In other words is the 40/20/40 assembly wider than an original bench? My seats did not come with the center jump seat/console and I'm debating which one to get. The factory ones I've seen (which is what I think you have) have 3 cupholders across the top lid and look really wide. I'm concerned about width and just wanted to check before I bought a jump seat/console. |

This setup is wider (by a few inches) than the bench seat that was in the truck when i bought it which came out of a 90's chevy. |

Re: need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
Here is what I have so far. I intend to get rid of the headrests and cover the seats with blue vinyl and blue/black houndstooth inserts. I am looking for a late model console like the one Pantera has, but I may run the old console for now. Let me know what y'all think about a console and if you know where I can find a 2007-2012 console because the junkyards around here are dry.

Re: need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
Without the headrests I like those seats and the console you have looks good to me .It sounds like a very well thought out plan .I would like to see those seats and console mocked up in the cab for a better idea but so far I like them. Im not sure Id give up my new BuddyBuckets just yet but I definitely want to see them when youre done so I can decide on mine.

Re: need pics and opinions on new silverado buckets
I'm with flashed...without the head rests, they would probably look pretty similar to the stocks, especially with the houndstooth, so I would run the stock console. I would also like to see some pics of it sitting in the cab...
