Electric fan(s)?

I sat in the drive throuh last week for 10 minutes and my crate 350 got pretty hot. Any reccomendations on a cooling fan that would fit the stock radiator? I can see overheating might be an issue in the summer.

Re: Electric fan(s)?

Are you runnung a fan shroud? If not they will always overheat, GOTTA have a fan shroud. Also what Rad are you running V8 or inline 6 size?

With the V8 rad and fan shroud you should have no problems

Yeah, no fan shroud. Didnt come with one. It has an aluminum extension after the crank pulley and then a flex fan. I dont really care for the flex fan because it seems really noisy at high rpm. I guess i have to try and figure out which radiator i have first.

Re: Electric fan(s)?

I had a couple of small electric fans mounted to my rad (top left and bottom right) and they worked okay but after idling for a while my temp would go up.
I found a larger Chrysler fan/shroud assembly that REALLY moves the air, and it fits inside my stock fan shroud. It keeps my 327 nice and cool.
