My latest find-72 Cheyenne Super/20 Custo Camper

I was going through withdrawls having sold so many of my trucks in the past 10 months so I found a great deal on this western truck.
Not perfect but dry with an older repaint. You folks out west dont know how good you have it!
Now everryone can see why I am working on getting another pair of western slots to match the pair of 16.5x8.25's I already have. Thinking they will look great on it and I never was a white spoke wheel guy so these have gotta go.
Also I will be reupholstering the seat back to the correct parchment Cheyenne Super cover and re-outfitting the original motor with the correct air cleaner etc.
Anyway 350, 4-spd, a/c truck with 80k miles. Oh and more pictures to come, just ran out of time to do much last weekend.

Sweet ride!
Nothing like a western C/20. I was lucky when I got mine, too. Nothing like that around my area.

Nice! So I guess having the upper trim did not did not mean you had the the side panel painted white as well.

That's a real nice 8-lugger there Tim. Not to give you any ideas or anything, but maybe it would look good with aluminum slots...ya think?

All Cheyenne Supers came with upper and lower side trim. On other trucks it was an option. Upper trim is an option included in the Deluxe Two-tone option.

Believe me, western trucks are'nt all in that condition. Your truck is in such great shape because it was originally bought as an recreational vehicle and used that way for many years. Original owners of custom campers took pride in their vehicles and kept them in great shape. Custom Campers require a lot less refurbishing than your typical western work truck.

Re: My latest find-72 Cheyenne Super/20 Custo Camper

You gotta go inland a bit to get the really rust free ones, near the coast they rust pretty bad. Very nice truck!

A agree that trucks in general are used and abused but the dry climate out west...Wow, what a difference. Probably doesnt hurt it was bought as an rv though either.
