8 350 Emblem meaning

Hello Everyone,

I just inherited a 1971 Custom 10 and intend on restoring it to its glory days. I've already decoded the vin and I think I know the answer to the question but I just want to be sure.

There is an emblem on the front fender of my truck and it says 8 350 what does that stand for?

Thanks

Welcome aboard, 8 = 8 cylinders & 350 = cubic inches/engine displacement. Mel

That's what I thought...but I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks am excited about starting the restoration journey! Already did a 69 Chevelle SS 396, so this should be a different experience.
