Aftermarket fenders
My son put one of those aftermarket fenders from Certifit on the 78 Blazer and it doesn't fit worth you know what ! I think those things are made in China. Anybody had any experience with this aftermarket junk and trying to rework it so it is at least useable.

Re: Aftermarket fenders
Shim and grind. I've had the same issues. That's why they're cheap.

Re: Aftermarket fenders
Gotta love Sortafit's parts! I used to work in the aftermarket crash parts business and most all Aftermarket parts are made overseas but there are good fitting aftermarket parts out there. Look for parts that are CAPA certified they generally tend to fit decent.

Re: Aftermarket fenders
shims shims and more shims. i hate offshore panels. not only do they not fit but they dont last.i know aftermarket fenders we get the skin is just folded over with.no tacks and the skin starts flapping in the wind. haha. ever compared the weight difference of an aftermarlet panel to a gm panel? the.difference is crazy

Re: Aftermarket fenders
Problem is that where this thing is the worst fit is where it mounts to the core support. It already sticks out to far so I am not sure how to fix.
