New truck

Traded my bike for this a few months ago. Have not done much with except clean it up a bit. Busy gathering parts. First thing to go is the ugly wheel and tire combo and drop it. Then save up for a drop member.

Re: New truck

Wow that looks good, but I'll agree, not a fan of the wheel/tire combo. Love the color, though.

And welcome to another Minnesota member!

Re: New truck

Nice looking truck. I remember in the early 90's really wanting those rims for my "then" truck.

Re: New truck

Thanks for the great feed back. It's a '78 was a 305 but picked up a 400 at some point. Plans are to add Silverado trim and two tone paint job. Going to add 22's when I get my taxes back. Then next winter do a drop member and lay it on the rockers. Love the website! Lots of great info!

Re: New truck

Those wheels are definitely straight out of 1990, but they wouldn't look that bad with a properly sized tire on there. Even so, it's going to be a while before the 90s have the nostalgia that the 60s and 70s currently enjoy.

Stash those wheels away. In 30 years someone will be scouring eBay for a set.
