1961 Hood "Apache 10" Emblem Help Please

Hi everyone.

I have a 1960 hood that I'm using for a 1961. I would like to put the "Apache 10" emblems in the correct locations but I don't have a guide.

Hopefully someone has a '61 hood with the emblems off so that either a tracing of the holes could be made, or the exact dimensions of the holes could be measured.

I appreciate the help...Thank you!

Measured on the drivers side. The vertical measurement is hooked under the hood and the tape flat to the hood near the holes. That will make sence when you put the tape measure there.

right hole 2 13/16 horizontal and 6 1/8 vertical
left hole 9 1/16 horizontal and 6 3/4 vertical

Where I have a later model hood, I didnt want to put the original badge on the hood.

Here is where I put mine. I may also put one on the glovebox door too.

That is just the drivers side. The holes probably need to be reversed for the passenger's side. Check your emblem before drilling the passenger's side.

I'm glad you asked now, since I have a 60 with a 61 hood, I'll be filling those holes soon.
