Will a 78 bed fit right on a 85 frame? I just wanted to make sure before I went and bought one thanks.

the bed itself will but you have to change out the fuel filler(s)

just the rubber hoses from the tank to the bed and the metal piece on the house that bolts to the bed... its a pretty easy swap.. ive done the reverse put an 84 bed on a 76 truck.. if you lookin the LMC Catalogue they have the drawings of the parts
