Re: bench seats
Yes, I do believe it will fit. I think GM bench seats all the way through the 90's will fit without any or very little modification.

Re: bench seats
i thought you had to use the mounting brackets off of the older bench to mount the 73-87 seats in the truck because they had the side tanks that came up under the cab the floorboard sits much higher than in other chevy trucks but still it is a very easy fix either way.

Re: bench seats
I measured my square body seat (1977 swb) and the seat will fit in nicely, Krazy Texan is correct, you will have to use to use the seat brackets off from your 65 seat, or make some brackets to make it work. The front of a 65 stock bench sits about 6 inches off the floor of the truck and the rear sits about 3 inches off the floor, just incase you don't have the original seat brackets.

Re: bench seats
Thanks to everyone, the bench worked out good did some drilling and it went in fine with the tank still in the cab, but ran into deeper sh!#. I blew the three speed tranny on it, now I got look for a tranny that fits and can handle the 350, and still be good on gas, since cali gas prices go up more than they go down. Looking to get a 700r4 for it with a floor shifter. Any other ideas?
