Seat belt cover removal ?? How to?

So every time i try to pop off the plastic covers the two little tabs on the back break.

Anyone have a sucessful way of doing this without breaking these tabs?

Thanks.

Maybe soak them in hot water for a few minutes?? I've had success by slightly prying them out and then inserting a thin flat metal piece like a feeler gauge.

There used to be a pictorial I saw either here on this site or elsewhere that showed the how to.

Yep, that's the one. Try to see if you can warm the plastic in water first to see if that softens it up some. I've never done that but I have a set that I'm going to take apart someday and I'll warm them up first.
