Re: need new radiator
Have you tried your local auto parts supplier? There are several members here that have had good luck with the aluminum radiators found on ebay. A simple search here should show a couple threads on them.

Re: need new radiator
I bought one of the ebay aluminum ones around 3 years ago for my 63 daily driver and have not had any problems with it. Was quite satisfied with the price and quality.

Re: need new radiator
Do you know there are 2 sizes of rads. A narrow one for the six. About 18" wide. And a wider one for the V8. About 22" wide. Also different mounts. Watch when you go shopping as some vendors only sell the wider one.

Re: need new radiator
Champion was the brand I went with also. I like the cap with the blow off chain. Cant seem to find them aftermarket though....thought that was weird. I've had a bunch of people ask me where I got the cap from.

Re: need new radiator
I have a champion also on my LS swap, keeps everything cool in 105 degree temps with AC on and running in the city.

Re: need new radiator
Sometimes old trucks that sit for years the radiator gets plugged. I remove them. empty them. Put the rad cap back on and lay it flat with the openings faceing up. I then fill the rad with white vinagar and let sit for two hours. Rince and repeat. I usually do two wash/soak cycles. Then rinse with a garden hose for a good ten minuets. Good as new then!

Re: need new radiator
Thanks guys thats good to know about the two radiator sizes since my truck was oritginally a 6 and is now a unknown small block v8. Does it matter how many core's I go with I guess 3 might be a better idea?

Re: need new radiator
A 3 row core with a shroud will cool most small blocks, and even some big blocks.
