front spring drop size
The CEC standard drop is 4/6 on the website, although it seems most people are running a 4.5/6 CEC. My front wheel/tire will be a 20x8.5 with a 255/40 tire. Should I get a 4 or 4.5 front drop ?

Re: front spring drop size
I'm a fan of the 4.5/6. I know it's only a 1/2", but that little extra seems to give a slight rake that I like to see in a truck. 4/6 usually looks too level to me. I think it's all in the look you are after!
I don't think there's really any fitment, ride, or performance aspects of the drop that will really be affected by that 1/2" considering the tire size you've chosen. I only say that because of what I've read on this forum. Last edited by Portmod7; 03-01-2012 at 02:56 PM. |
