V.I.N. where are they
I got a line on a desent C-20 truck. The cab is rust free, it's a bit rough on the edges. I looked at it and it has a 1969 hood and grill, the numbers in the glove box tell me it's a 1969 C-10. There is no dought that she's a C-20, but is there another place to find the VIN

Open the driver's door, look to your right on the cab opening, the VIN tag should be on the cab about hand high.
Post the VIN and some one will be able to give you the info about the truk year.

Yes i know that, like i said it has a salvage title, and the plate is missing.
There is a smaller plate above where the old one was along with a sticker from the state of AZ. So where else can i find the VIN??? |

Partial VIN on the driver's side frame rail behind the suspension.

I have also heard there is a number on the frame under the back part of the cab.

Re: V.I.N. where are they
Well some trucks had them stamped on the frame and some didn't. I just found mine on my 68 it is on the top of the left frame rail. about mid way of where the door is. Only way to see this one would be with cab off, as this is how I found it.
As for that. thats the three places I know of, Door Jam, glove box door, and then the frame possibly.
