will block hugger headers work with a big block in a 72?

Seems like they might hit the crossmember. Anybody running these?

Get the 3/4 length from Sanderson (or similar manufacturer) for the 68-72 chevelle. I'm using them on the RetroRod & they fit.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

the "shorty" headers I tried wouldnt work (cross member/motor mount interference) ... i ended up using the Dynomax 3/4 for small-block Chevelle/Malibu.

Hope this helps ...

I saw where Hedman sells a set of "shorty" headers for big-block chevelles. I wonder if these are the true shortys or the 3/4 length? SCOTI, do you have a part number on those big block 3/4's?
