61 C10 guy needs some info on bagging a front end
I WAS ON THIS FORUM BEFORE AND LIKED IT. BUILT AN AIRBAGGED 64 STEPSIDE. THE TRUCK SOLD A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO BUT STAYED IN MY HOMETOWN OF PITTSBURGH. **** NOW I HAVE A 61 WITH TORSION FRONT AND WANT TO BAG IT. I AM LOOKING FOR SOME PICTURES OF A TORSION TRUCK WITH BAGS ONLY, OR ONE SETTING ON THE GROUND WITH NO BARS AND NO DROP SPINDLES. I KNOW THAT I SHOULD CHANGE THE FRONT AND UPDATE IT BUT I WANT TO SEE HOW LOW I CAN GET WITH JUST BAGS,AND NO SPINDLE. I AM NOT NEW TO THE SCENE AND DO HEAVY FAB WORK TO ALL MY AIRRIDE VEHICLES, BUT JUST WANT TO SEE IF ANYBODY HAS PICS. ANY HELP AND I WILL BE QUITE THANKFUL.

Welcome back. Here are a few earlier threads that might prove helpful. I know I've seen others on the topic I just haven’t found them yet:

Re: 61 C10 guy needs some info on bagging a front end
i am currently in the process of bagging my 62. i bought a frame from a 85 c10 and plan to swap crossmembers. plus doing it this route id gain power steering, disc brakes and 5 lug front and rear. from the research ive done this is a pretty common/simple swap. anyone with experience doing this swap that has any pointers id love to hear about it.
