Dash ?

I have a standard dash in my truck now( no guages in the bottom) and was wondering if i could get a bezel with the guage holes, mount the guages to the bezel and switch it with the old bezel instead of buying the whole dash. i dont know how the guages are attached but it cant be to differnet, right.

Thanks for any help/info.

There is quite a bit of difference in the two panels. One of the main differences is the printer circuit on the back side.
Another difference is the wiring for the panel is also different.
Best idea is to pick up a guage dash at a swap meet or salvage yard. Usually they can be had for from $15 to $35 in used condition.
You will then need to rewire the connector under the dash for the new guage panel.
This link will explain the differences in the wiring between the guage and the idiot light dash.
