Ideas on engine covers?
Truck is almost finished. There is a spot on the engine bay that i want to cover up. I have seen a few guys make some covers for this area just wondering what you guys recommend.
here is the area. I marked it in red. I would like it to cover the radiator, and then slope down to the grill area. What size guage metal could i use? 16 guage fine? Ideas on how to mount it? I could bolt it to the core support but i dont want to bolt it to the grill. Im looking for any ideas. Thanks guys.

Re: Ideas on engine covers?
The aftermarket makes a cover for that area. Check around on LMC or other sites. I believe it comes in black, stainless or maybe other options.

I dont want just the little cover that goes over the radiator, i want something that curves down and covers that whole front space between teh grill and core support.

Re: Ideas on engine covers?
Looks good JWall. Should actually improve airflow over the radiator too I imagine.

Re: Ideas on engine covers?
The factory style hood stops have a rubber pad on top with a phillips head screw showing in the center.
The ones on my truck in the pic are billet hood stops from Ring Brothers. |

Both are available from Brother's as well. www.brotherstrucks.com
one called "radiator cover" in black or stainless. other called "radiator support/grill cover" in polished or natural stainless, or black. |

This is what I have on mine. Along with a rad cover, it looks good. No pics at this time.
