No whitewalls, but I’d say my 1960 qualifies on most counts for the build style you might be after. It started heading toward the gasser style around the bottom of post #28 on my build thread. The Blitz Black paint job started around post 54, and a photoshop version of the planned end result is found on post 97:

Re: classic style Stepside pix thread
I don't think gasser is the right word. Actually, classic isn't either. I don't recall ever seeing wide white on these trucks until recent years. It's a new interpretation of an older look placed onto these newer trucks. The mags? Yes,but if they did tun whitewalls they were either the 1"ers or a type you don't see remade these days. They were fairly wide, started at the rim,and were like 2",but not nearly as wide as the gangster wides you see on stuff now. That went out in the mid-50s. I don't know what you want to call them, but I'll try to fill your request here. I guess I'd call it an early-60s mild custom look...the first one w/a twist.

Re: classic style Stepside pix thread
I knoow what your saying is correct, but I still have to disagree. Wide whites never go out of style, they are just more "in style" at certain times...
