Scored a tach/air cluster, need tips on restoration
just bought myself a tach/ air pressure cluster off ebay for $158. can anyone give me tips on how to clean the plastic lense, paint the needles and what products to use etc? what bulbs to use for replacement etc...

i used testors orange on my needles, and just windexed the lense , i think bigvinnie told me aboutsome plastic polsih but i dont remember the name of it, if you order a new bezel it will make a world of difference

Just be careful cleaning the back of the lens. You'll take the luminescent lettering right off if you wipe it too hard.

Congradulations on your tach score. I just got one also its a speed warning/tach combo, and I loved the price 99.00 bucks. I just happened to see it right after it was listed and pushed the buy it now for 99.00 bucks. So im happy... just like you..
