71 C10 rear end swap from a later model ?
Does any happen to know if a 98 Suburban 1/2 ton 2WD rear end fit in my 71 2wd C-10... I know Il have to redo the perches but my concerns are the width,same 5 bolt pattern and yoke for the driveline,,,,thanks ahead jim

88 and newer rearends have a wider track width than 71-87 rearends. I cant remember if they are 2 or 4 inches wider, but with modern wheels having different back spacing than the old wheels, you might be able compensate for the extra width with newer wheels.
