New from Central California
Great site. Have been to the boards a few times now for some of the info on my body off ground up 1965 Chevy K-10 4x4 Carryall restoration. Since these photos where taken (about 120 days ago now) all glass is back in and new tires and rims (including spare) are mounted and on. Will upload latest photos soon. Power supplied by a crated Chevy Hi-Performance 345HP 350 motor. Transmission is 3 speed Turbo auto with a early 1970s Chevy front axle with disc brakes and a 305 transfer case was robbed from the same parts vehicle. Custom made power steering mounting plate was used to strengthen the frame with the power steering unit in place. Inside is almost all stock with the exception of aftermarket AC and cluster guage under the dash. Have all 4 original seats (3/4 front, 1/4 slider/tilt front, center 3/4 and rear full seat). Finishing up license plate light, dome light, glove box light, etc. wiring at this time. Will leave only the carpet and headliner to finish.
