Sweet Jimmy...I saw this listed in the Los Angeles Craigslist. I actually contacted the guy and he said it was SOLD!

Nice score...looks like a sweet Jimmy. You beat me to the punch .

Re: New GMC Jimmy to start enjoying

Not yet - but soon. I really need to get some time to enjoy this thing. Between work, wife, kids, dogs, ..... it is the end of the day before I know it. July will be the month it comes off. Hoping it is easy to remove?? And I need to figure out how to store it - thinking of hanging from the rafters in the garage???

Re: New GMC Jimmy to start enjoying

Thanks - I get more excited about the Jimmy as I realize it is great condition and really just needs some new carpet and seats covered. After that - its a driver. A few leaks here and there - something to work on in the winter. Only bummer was driving into town the first day and having the front wheel fall off - loose lugs I guess. That never happened to me before, and I would have thought you would get some notice (e.g wobble, shaking steering, ...). Turned into the car wash and off it fell. I have been looking for an ochre fender ever since - as I hate to get it fixed / repainted ..... (original paint).

Did the wheel studs break? Regardless of what happened, that sucks.

No - the wheel studs got pretty messed up though. Lesson learned on this deal - torque the lug nuts......
