64 c20 project
Hello all. I have been lurking here a while, looking for a good project, and found this 64 c20 long wheel base. going to convert to 1/2 ton and make a weekend cruiser out of it. the body is in great shape with only very bottom of front fenders, and small area in right floor board rusted.

Welcome to the board!
Your truck looks really solid. What drivetrain do you have? I bought a '64 C-20 about a year ago, and I have done the 1/2 ton suspension swap using a '79 Suburban. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or check out my build thread. Your side trim is very unique. You don't see many like that, with the single spear.

Re: 64 c20 project
Welcome to the forum
You're not going to upgrade to disc brakes while you're at it? With the C20, you can go with the '88-'98 light duty 2500 spindles and rotors, which are 6 lug. That would match up with the '68 rear end. Just an idea.
