video of my truck accelerating

so I have been working on my timing issue and never had a chance to really lay into the truck since I bought it because it would not run right under more than half throttle (sputter, pook out carb, miss or totally fall on its face).... so after changing the carb and manifold, plug wires, plugs, re-route wires, fuel filter, all of which ended up not being the problem and finally tracing it back to the mallory dist set up..... so come to find out the rev limiter was set at 4500, the timing curve was set on the wrong curve and the total timing was off (all by previous owner) I enlisted the help of this forum and finally I would say the truck is running so much better, finally some power under throttle.... these video were of 3/4 throttle but not totally full throttle... I do think the shift points need to be tweaked.... cause she licks down nice but shifts back up too fast, not holding the kich down gear long enough,,,

Re: video of my truck accelerating

Shift points are not too hard to set up, you can get a shift governor recalibration kit by B&M from Summit for about 30 bucks. If you are only doing 3/4 throttle runs it will not shift at its highest limit, however. Depending on your cam specs it may be fine, no sense revving it over 6000 if the cam is done at 5500.

Sounds great btw!
