Re: Pre bent brake lines?

From Inline Tube....

Front ss brake line kit = 4pcs: 1x front left line, 1x front right line, 1x front line (master to prop valve), 1x rear line (master to prop valve). All lines in a 5'L x 1'W x 1'H box.

Rear ss line kit = 4pcs: 1x front (prop valve to union), 1x rear (union to rear bulkhead), 1x L-rear (bulkhead to left wheel cyl), 1x R-rear (bulkhead to right wheel cyl). These came in same box w/the front kit. Rear line was folded in half w/instructions on how to straighten the bend w/o damage.

I also purchased a bbc suburban fuel line kit & it was shipped basically the same way.

Re: Pre bent brake lines?

Good info. How do you straighten the bent brake line? Seems like that would be hard to do.

Re: Pre bent brake lines?

Instructions are included to striaghten the"shipping bends". I just used a flat surface and bent them by hand.Be sure to order the mounting clips if you can't reuse yours, they don't come with the lines.

Re: Pre bent brake lines?

Thanks for the info guys, I'm likely going to order pre bent rather then fab my own, just to save time and sanity. I love bending tubing I do it for a living, but when I get home I don't necessarily want to do it anymore.

The Shipping bends must be wide radius bends? So not to kink the lines?
