Tilt Steering wheel question, need some help

So i have an original truk tilt to put into my truck , but the original wheel that's in it right now has two "Brackets" i that's what they are called coming out off the end, the ones that put the truck and hold it in gear. My tilt only has one coming out of the end and it has the circle on the end of it (I've seen a couple on here and it's the same). I'm just curious because my truck when i put it in gear that long lever moves and the other one stays still to keep it into park when I switch it back to park. Is my tilt missing that other lever or does that one on the non-tilt come off? Or does a tilt not take that at all?

I appreciate your help.

Nick
