rocker arm choices

I am about ot start buy parts for my lq4. I was going to buy a set of l92's, cam, intake, headers, ect. the only thing I am going to use thats stock is the short block (with arp bolts in the rods and main caps). Because I am going to a gen 4 head I will need the offset rockers. I thought about just going with the factory one but they seem kind flimsy. the cam I was goign to run is 573/558 lift and will pproabably see 6500 maybe 6800 rpm from time to time I am unsure if the factory rockers will hold up to this. I was looking at after market rockers and I could find a whole lot that would use a factory stand and had the offset rocker. I saw a couple different one's but they were stud mounted and i dont tin kI would need to go to that extreme of a setup. I did see yell terra makes a set but I read a few bad thiing about them you guys know of any more that still mount on a stand adn will work on a gen 4 head?

Re: rocker arm choices

Factory rocker with trunnions upgrade is what I am running. Heck I ran stockers for years but felt a new trunnions was safe insurance.

When I go solid roller, it will be adjustable rollers.

Rollers more often than not hurt valve train control more than helping power. With a roller you put more weight over the valve, which means you need more spring to control it. But, with a Hyd lifter, more spring is not always a great idea. Cold start after a few days when the lifter has bled down, can make quite a racket.

Re: rocker arm choices

One thing about an adjustable roller, you have the added weight over the valve with the roller, but, you also have weight added over the pushrods for the adjuster and nut. I have not seen many people (if any) run an adjustable rocker with a Hyd cam. I would be very curious to see what happens with valve float issues if an adjustable rocker is put in place of a standard roller rocker. It would allow for very accurate preload.
