tom, 2 years ago when I first started selling on the internet I sold a guy from maryland a complete stem to stern A/c system from a 79. I took it apart my self so I was able to give the guy digital prints of the proper installtion of all the componets. I also labeled every piece of wire and vauum hose for him . He had it up and WORKING in 2 days . I got $375 for that set up and recenty saw a much less complete one sell on ebay for $275. I am sure that out in you HOT area there are plenty of older, 73-80,A/C equipped trucks or Blazers or Suburbans that you can get the parts from. the few 73-80 trucks I have for parts right now are picked over and neither had A/C. try to get some nice Hoses cheap as they are $$$ to buy new .DAVE
