My Coy's came today!
Woo Hoo! Can't wait to get tires in a couple days. After 8 months I have it driving and I will have spent all my $$$. When it gets warm enough, the last few bucks will half a**ed paint the bedsides faded hugger orange. Planning on driving the crap out of it this summer.

Re: My Coy's came today!
Nice hope they fit OK. Hope they got all the bugs worked out of them. You need tires though they are going to wear fast like that!

Re: My Coy's came today!
What size tires are you planning to go with? How much is your truck dropped?

Re: My Coy's came today!
ECE 4/6 drop. Id like to remove the rake with blocks but gonna let the springs settle and get rolling stock sorted out before I mess with that. Probably end up with bags in the back.
Planning on 255/40 and 295/40 Toyo. Should have rubber on by this weekend. Ill report back on fitment. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Re: My Coy's came today!
Ha ha! Can't make any promises CC. With 2 daughters, 3 dogs, and a wife I am often asked to delay my plans for theirs.
Yes, I did put a CPP notch in it. Swapped a short frame under a long box so as long as it was all apart figured I might as well do that and powder coat and be done with it. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Re: My Coy's came today!
CC I checked out your build. Love the GMC. Chrome or polished may have been an option for me if my truck was as nice as yours. Black would look killer with big polished 5 spokes.

Your truck will look good with polished or the grey I would think... Not sure on the blue and white I'm working with though.

Re: My Coy's came today!
Update: Bolted bare wheels on both the front and rear last night.
FRONT: Minor fitment issue. The front center caps keep the wheels from sitting flush against the rotor/hub. I did not have any problems with the wheel going on with the center cap removed. Sorry no pix but it's the same issue as Frank had in this post. I'll probably do what he did. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=274552 REAR: Man the rear wheel lip is close on the inside. Maybe 1/2"? I won't be able to have much sidewall 'bulge'. I've seen alot of members have 295/40's on 20x10 Coy's so I am hopefull I'll be OK.
