Thought this was kind of neat.

The local Chevy dealer asked if he could display my truck in the showroom for awhile. Its kind of hard to see, but I thought it looked pretty cool.

that IS cool. You should get a good black and white pic of it so it looks like it's back in the day...

Thats an awesome pic. The only problem with having your truck in there is you cant drive it.

Re: Thought this was kind of neat.

I have been waiting for a super nice, correct BMW to campaign for to go on our showroom floor for almost 16 years now. I've only seen two that fit the bill. Usually the powers that be are numbers guys and not car guys. It nice to see this one hit the showroom floor.

Wow that's cool. Congrats! What dealership? You're not too far from me (Lyman, SC). Maybe I can check it out in person.

It's at Smith Chevrolet - they've had it for a week or so, I'll probably pick it up this week sometime.

Re: Thought this was kind of neat.

Cool! Did you make sure all the salesmen know it's not actually for sale? Might go back and find your truck sold! LOL

Isn't it funny how they need an old truck to display? Guess the stuff they are making today just doesn't draw enough attention.

Really cool! I was asked to do the same thing with my 61 Vw single cab truck. To me it means your truck is nice and yes it will bring in the people who just want to see your truck and maybe some buyers! cheers, Pat

Thats a great tribute to you and your truck ,kind of like Summit Racing picking your car for their indoor rotating displays next to the front doors. All those pics are great too.
