Wink joining the brotherhood

i just joined the site. but ive been using it for a year now.very, very good info here.my 1st vehivle was a 1971 fleetide lwb c10.it had a 262 v8 from a monza,3spped manual,3.73/1 rear.it soon had a very healthy 400 smallblock with a 3000 stallspeed converter and a th350. and i sold it. 22 years later at 40 years old i now have a 1970 fleetside lwb350 ci,3 speed manual, 3.73 rear.to be 400 small block( i guess nyou can tell i like these engines)sm 465 4 speed and 3.08 rear. this truck is a lot more rusty than my last one 22 years ago. if it were not for pictures i have printed from this site i would be lost replacing sheet metal patch panels.there was literally nothing left to use as a visual for replacement. i told my wife its a 5 year project when i got it. it will probably be 5 years till its totally done.oh im from south central pa

Re: joining the brotherhood

66, im 3.5 hours from pittsburg. im not familiar with that area. i am hoever 10 miles from carlisle pa. they have one of the best car show/swap meets in the country(usa). im pretty sure nthe carlisle fairgroundsn where car shows are held is 72 acres.thier spring show i think is the last weekend of this month. they have a little of everything. including old chevy trucks and parts.do a google search for "carlisle events".

Re: joining the brotherhood

Thanks 400, When I did the google search one of the results was oldride.com, they have a complete listing of events for all states and provinces, glad I asked!
