Lock cylender/engage question on 67-72 locks
hey all, im gettin her back on the road after a year or so in restore. i got new lock cylenders and i cant figure out why the lock doesnt engage anything when I lock it with the key. I have the door panel off, and im wondering if there is suposto be something that attached to the back of the lock cylender?

Yes there is someting attached to the rear of lock. Dont know what there called ive seen them in a couple parts catalogs. Im looking for the one for the barn doors but am not having any luck because it is diffrent the the other two doors.

There is a little L shaped piece of metal that is attached to the key mech, it is held on with a tiny clip and is what actuates the lock on the latch.
