your best guess?
dad calls me today at work and he says he went to some guys house (work related) who has a 396/M22 combo out of a 69 camaro sitting on the driveway with a tarp over it, he wants to ditch it for $1K... says it was running and it was fast, but replaced it with a 454/auto.
Dad didnt know any of the details (complete, access. brackets, bellhousing, intake, etc) But I told him heck yeah Im interested. Supposedly he "had it sold for $2K but the guy wanted him to hold it for him" ..... Ill call the guy this weekend. Knowing my luck, its a 200K mile, stock peanut port iron intake BBC, greasey and leaking as hell, with no brackets and an unknown 4 speed tranny sitting next to it, in equal unknown state. anyone want to take a stab at it? If its anything decent Ill own it so fast your head will spin mike |

M22 will have a 32 spline output shaft (TH400) and a 26 spline input shaft. Pull the side cover off and make sure the gears are ok, and are only angled about 18 degrees. (m22 was straighter cut than the M20 and M21)
