Question 64 stepside radiator upgrade question?

I own a 64 stepper that isn't where I am located.

I have an opportunity to buy a 4 cre aluminum radiator w/ fans but I don't know if it will fit the truck.

Will this fit?

4 core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and external trans cooler, driver side top passenger side bottom(chevy style)
measures from outside of tank to tank 32" X 19" tall, inside the tanks measures 25"

We swapped out the engine to a 283 with a 2 speed auto trans.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: 64 stepside radiator upgrade question?

The height is okay, but it is too wide to fit between the inner fenders without modifying them. Also the battery tray is about 2" inside of the passenger side inner fender. Without moving the battery tray, you want to stay about 25.5-26" wide. If the battery has been moved, then you can go to 27.5" wide. The original V8/HD 6cyl radiator is 25.5" wide.
